Ruffles Hair Design has been in Avoca Beach for many years and was purchased by Soni Forster in 2001.  Ruffles has always been associated with excellence both in Customer Service and quality results.  Our team of Hair Stylists consists of:

Soni completed her apprenticeship in 1994 and has continued her career both locally and on Queensland’s Gold Coast.  Soni continues her education by attending workshops and courses to guide Ruffles to continue to be a superior Hair Salon on the Central coast.  Her friendly personality, uncompromising attention to detail and genuine care and dedication to her Clients has set a high standard for all of her Employees.  




Tiffany came to Ruffles as a 3^rd year apprentice in 2005.  She has completed many additional courses to keep up to date with latest trends and has achieved the highest accreditation possible at Loreal Colour Workshops.  Tiffany has become our Bridal and Formal Specialist and she loves being creative for your special day.  As Assistant Manager of ruffles Tiffany ensures Clients are completely satisfied with their Hair Style and Colour.




Rachel came to ruffles from Erina Hairport in 2002 and is our longest serving employee.  Rachel has a long standing loyal Clientele which is testimony to the quality of Rachels work.  She continually updates with all aspects of Colour and Cutting Styles and has also completed Loreal’s High Standard Colour Workshops.





Amy is just beginning her hairdressing career as our 2^nd year apprentice and has already shown her ability both at Tafe (attaining Distinction Certification) and her colour work in the Salon.  

With the enthusiasm she has shown and under the guidance of our Senior Stylists, we are confident Amy will become a quality and “in demand” Hair Stylist at Ruffles.

Our new 1^st year Apprentice began in April 2010 and is showing great potential.  

Her happy personality and willingness to learn will ensure she achieves her dream to become one of Ruffles quality Hair Stylists.
